On school nights I get him to bed & he gets up several times going to the bathroom ect. He sleeps in the same room as his 7 yr. old brother who falls asleep fast,but he sits up all night at times reading ect to try to fall asleep. I have sat in the room with him & for hours we sit there & nothing he tosses & turns & doesnt fall asleep. One night I went to bed I got tierd of waiting & he was up all night! I am afraid this will hurt him & cause more problems. In the morn. after he does get to sleep I have a hard time waking him,I don't know if it's an issue I should take up with his doctor or if it's simply a game he's playing with me,We have tried warm milk,Tylenol Ect. He simply tells me too much is going on in his head for him to fall asleep,He saids he thinks about all sorts of stuff while he's laying there. Please anyone with ideas to help. Is this a medical issue or something else.
