In the past 2 weeks, she will not sleep through the night, along with a strong fight for naps (sometimes lasting 1 1/2 hrs before I give up.) I have just recently quit my job to be a stay at home mom and I am 17 weeks pregnant, which I have contributed some of this to, but it's been going on for a while now and I am beginning to worry.
Getting her to go to bed is all out war. Some nights she cries so hard she makes herself vomit. Other nights she just keeps getting out of her room. Other nights it's excuse after excuse. Usually her extreme screaming at 4:30 wakes me up. When I go in to her room, it's " I need you mommy" And she won't go to sleep unless I stay in the room, and if I get up to leave she screams. My husband has been in there tonight with her for 1 1/2 hrs. HELP HELP HELP! We are at our wits end!
