The biggest concern with sleep walking is safety. You may try setting up a bell to ring when he gets out of bed or opens the door in the bedroom. Keep any objects that could harm him where he can't get to them.

If it wakes him up great, if not it should be loud enough to alert others in the house.

Make sure he can't walk outside or climb out windows, etc. If his sleepwalking gets worse you should consult a pediatric sleep specialist in your area.
