11 y/o with sleep issues/seizures?

I am a mom to an 11 year old boy who is currently sleeping behind me on the couch.

His sleep cycles are all off, and have been for over a year.

His sleep pattern was never regular, with sleeping approximately 2-3 hours within a 24 hour period as a baby, progressing to sleep crawling, progressing to sleep walking, sleep throwing up, sleep running, and having problems getting to sleep.

Now he can't sleep in general, is often up for 24 hours at a time, wakes up in sleep many times.

He was diagnosed with autism, and mild mental retardation. He has very bad memory loss.

I am concerned about seizures. It has been difficult finding a specialist that can see CHILDREN, and has experience in this.

We live in Saudi, but could go back to America (but it will be a fortune for services out of pocket).

Any ideas of where to look, or experiences similar?
