Many children diagnosed with autism/mental retardation also have sleep apnea which can make the problem worse.

Sleep apnea is also known to trigger seizures during sleep. Treating the sleep apnea can stop the seizures.

There are sleep labs where you live and sleep apnea is very treatable.

One sleep lab is:

Sleep Disorders Center, College of Medicine, King Khalid University Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
