Posted by lvm6 on June 06, 2008 at 05:42:33:my 7 year old son's latest episode included hopping on one foot and jogging in place in his sleep. he has had several episodes of sleepwalking over the years and a few times has opened various doors. he has opened my bedroom door and started playing with things on my dresser and he has tried opening the front door and getting out of the house (luckily i caught him). he has also had several episodes over the years of waking up crying like he's very scared of something. he never remembers any of these things the next day when i tell him what he did.
i would like to have a sleep study done, but these episodes only happen every other month or so. i have searched but cannot find anything about people jogging in their sleep??? has anyone heard of this?
