My son has bumped his frontal lobe every night since is was old enough to get on his hands and knees. Which was 7months. He bangs it sooo hard that it is hard to sleep! I padded his whole crib with pads and such, and so far it has helped with the noise, but he still bumps. He has formed a lump in the middle of his frontal lobe, where he has bumped his head so hard. He is 2 right now, and we took the pads down for a little while and it seemed to work, but the last few days he has been ramming his head into the wood part of the crib again. I put the pads back up today. It is scary to think he might need a sleep doctor, but I will do anything for this to be fixed. He sleeps beautifully when he goes to sleep, but he has to rock and bump his head to get to sleep most nights. Please give me a clue of what to do. Thanks you
