I have never heard of a this. Sounds like prolonged delta sleep, however, not being about to come out of it is unusual to say the least.

Delta sleep can trigger seizures, never heard of them lasting this long.

Let us know if you find out anything from the EEG. Is she really in Delta Sleep or in another state.
