Ok so this is going to be kind of long. I have a 17 month old little girl who sleeps excessively and I was wondering if maybe yall could give me some insight as to why. Me and my husband work 50 hours a week and all our kids…three girls go to daycare M-F 6am-4:45 pm we have to wake them up at 5:30am everyday M-F. When we get home from work we have the worst time trying to keep her up…she screams and cries until we put her to bed she used to be able to last till 8pm but now we can’t get her to stay up past 6pm. The daycare claims that she is fine while there and only takes one nap a day from 12:30-2:30..but on the weekends is when she sleeps all the time. On Friday night I will put her to bed between 6-8pm depending on how long I can keep her up she sleeps all night without a peep. On Saturday morning the latest I will let her sleep is 10am and I always have to go in and wake her up. Then she is screaming and crying again by 12pm wanting to take a nap and she takes her name from 12-4pm and I always have to go wake her up from name also…then she goes back to bed at 8pm. One time I decided to see how long she would sleep without me waking her up and I finally have in at 2:30 in the afternoon and woke her up…so she had slept from 8pm Friday till 2:30 Saturday!! Her doctor ran all kinds of blood test and did an EKG but they found nothing. I’m starting to really worry about her. But I find it funny she just does this at home not at daycare. Can you please help me!! Thanks
