This would require some insurance salesmanship, but something similar to my pacemaker. A company calls me once a month and I attach leads to my arms and do an ekg that is transmitted to the company by phone with the results sent to my cardiologist.
the machine would have a phone jack that would transmit data periodically to a company or with an acoustic coupler which would send results to docs office.
The doc could review it and make suggestions, even adjusting pressure thru the interface.
This would take a lot of guesswork and be a win win for all concerned.
