nPAP Odor Purging Feature

This idea comes from Rae's thread about brush fires. It would be nice to have some means (chemical, activated charcoal, or otherwise) of purging concentrated smoke and other odors from a CPAP machine. We all know that CPAP machines collect and concentrate these odors, but how the heck do you get them out quickly? With automatic shutoff (once my mask is removed) I could't even run my auto-PAP for several hours to chase the odor away if I wanted to.
