Posted by Dryeyes-Seattle on January 29, 2003 at 12:37:45:My daughter used the little eye guards that the sun tan places have for molds to make little silicone covers that I fasten together with piece of thread and cover my eyes to protect them from damage from air leakage from my mask. Before that, I spent as much time with the eye doctor as the pulmonologist "fixing" damage to my corneas. These are about the size as the bowl of a teaspoon. I have tried to interest the manufacturers and techs into making these available for purchase (can't be that hard if my daughter could figure it out--she's a technical editor, not a mechanic or craftsperson) and at the rates they charge for equipment, it would seem profitable. The whole "one size fits all" mask thing is my pet peeve--argggggghhhhhhhh......
