Start at a museum of torture devices from the Spanish Inquisition: those were designed to stay in place. Then create a mask that WORKS rather than masks that have all these "adjectives" about slender, flexible, lightweight, petite, or other nonsense.

Give us a mask that WORKS. If we need to take precise facial measurements first, okay! Give us a template or an algorithm for being fitted to a mask that WORKS.

Too many masks, leak, slip, slide, ... we do NOT want masks that are 'cutesy' or have all these marketing-oriented adjectives. We want masks that are functional. And if that means they are going to be heavy, bulky, daunting and ugly, then so be it!

I'd much rather have a large, ugly contraption that worked than this endless experimentation with dozens of "cutesy" masks that don't work well at all.
