It still wouldn't matter. Any electrical device brought into the hospital must be checked before patient use. If we run low on ventilators and have to have some shipped in, even though they're already certified for hospital use, they must be safety checked before patient use. These are JACHO standards that all hospitals must use in order to remain accredited.
