One of the biggest complaints I've had and read over and over again is the over-night sleep (or lack thereof) tests.

It would be great if there were a way to do a fairly extensive test at home. Currently, I am aware of the oxymeter test that can be done at home, but that only measures one variable.

I had done some searching on the net on this subject and found some old references on a device in development called the "Night Cap". It was a cap with sensors in it. I didn't see any later references indicating if development on this ever panned out to the implementation stage.
