Totally agree, there should be some form of economical alternative power source. Hubby is a keen camper, and since treatment began, is unable to go camping, cause there is little to no way for him to plug his machine in. He is looking at coverters or some such thing to hook up to car batteries or anything else, but at this stage all seems really expensive (of course) and cumbersome. Rechargable battery power - cool idea. And why isn't this sort of thing thought of by the manufacturers in regard to power failures. We live in a small rural town, and power surges and failure are common, hubby spends a rather restless night and we all pay the next day with his bad temper. Come on someone - find a way.
