There are many reports of machines detecting that the mask was removed when it wasn't, of BiPAP's mistiming breathing, etc. Patients should be able to turn off these features when they are not working in a manner that it beneficial to the patient. For machines that have many fancy features, it would be best if they could be disabled individually, (maybe some features are working well & some aren’t).
