I read somewhere that men are 2.5 times as likely to have OSA as women (pure CSA is fairly rare). If true, this would mean that 71% of the patients are male.

However, even if true, 29% of the market is an important market share. Furthermore, I don't believe that it is true. On top of that, I think that because of this myth, women are more likely to go undiagnosed (I.E. ". . . you're a women, and this is a man's disease").
