I would like to see the manufacturers consult with an Orthodox rabbi and develop a machine where these fancy features can be temporarily disabled by the user. They've done it for ovens, surely the CPAP is more urgent!
And a timer is not the answer -- for one thing, if I misprogram it (which I have), I wind up having the machine on when I don't need it, and off when I do. For another, I'm told the new auto-CPAP I just received today will turn off unless I put the mask on within 5 minutes of it powering up, and I'm just not that accurate at timing these things . . .
Thanks for listening.
