A couple of different types of HEPA filters are available. Several of the machine manufacturers make HEPA filters to fit their machines. You use them in place of or in addition to the regular filter. Also there is a generic HEPA filter which fits between the machine and the hose. It is rather like a plastic tube with the filter in the middle and runs about $5.00. Do a websearch and you should be able to find them.
