Posted by Nipper on April 14, 2005 at 08:24:15:I have been using a cpap for 2 years and have still not gotten used to it. Does the hose need to be so long. I have my cpap machine right beside my bed and the hose goes down to the floor and then up to my bed and there is still a lot of length left. It keeps waking me up during the night because it gets stuck between the mattress and headboard. I tried looping it over the headboard and that was much better but it gave me too much moisture. Also, has anyone ever used a cover for their hose. My sleep therapist suggested I use one to keep the air warm and it will cut down on the moisture.
