I did give pt a trial of modafinil 200 mg, with minimal improvement in his complaint of sleepiness. I am starting to suspect secondary gain??? He is asking me to sign for his disability. Altough he does not seems like a person who would know about SOREM etc. and drugs that would cause SOREM during withdrawl. I have rescheduled PSG followed by MSLT.. If he shows up.. Ihave ordered drug screen, but how do check if he was on REM supressing agents before the study ?
