I agree with the above. Article #2 form Japan may have been dealing with central apnea since altitude sickness is treated with Diamox. I am sure ADHA epidemic is partly due to the fact that we are not doing "unnecessary T&A's" like we did in the 60-70's In my days of Family Practice I would see kids who were "sickly" and bloomed after surgery. We thought it was removing infected tonsils and toxins but I believe it was really treating OSA. JPH
