At your suggestion I tried it in a 39y/o female with RLS, daytime hypersomnia who had failed on Neurontin (ruined libido, dizziness) and tried one half a 50mg hs. After two weeks she calls and says it is a miricle. All symptoms gone and feels great in the day.
Looking at the pharmocology Ultram is opiate like which is one of the seldom used drugs used in movement problems. I try not to use it especially in the elderly because of wierd reaactions and drugseeking behavior. I'll surely consider it in the future for RLS/PLMS. One more case and we will have a "series" Thanks, JPH
