Posted by ojibwe on January 30, 2003 at 22:12:22:I have a pt who tells of very detailed lucid dreams. He has
had them for many years and does not admit to haveing any fears about them.he states that it is like he is awake in his dream.he states that 9 out of 10 times he can remember
his dreams upon awakening, that about once a week after awakening he is not sure if he is really awake, sometimes
this last for up to several hours.pt does say that this is scary, but that he knows that it will pass.pt also says that
some of the time when he awakes he cannot move and that it seems that he can't breath.pt claims that over time he has learned to not be afraid of this.
My ? MOst of the research i have come across say's hh is a very disturbing thing, as is slp par.Does this sound like an HH/with slp par?Pt is being treated for narcolepsy(for the past 15 years)It runs very strong on his mothers side.
This is the first time pt has said anything about this
perhaps I haven't been asking the propper ?'s.
