Again, I recognize that these other postings are old, but this is the first time I have seen this site so I have a few questions.
I have diagnosed myself with PLM and RLS, and have been using 25mg of Tramadol @HS, sometimes another 25mg before going to an evening play. It works wonderfully well for me, except that I still experience intermittent daytime drowsiness.
Questions:
1. I have never had a sleep study. Do I really need one? Why?
2. Is there any problem with taking Tramadol long-term? Addictive potential?
I am not a "pill" person, but after starting the Tramadol, I never forget to take it before bed - sleep without it is so miserable. I hate feeling like I need to take a pill, but I do. Any thoughts.
