about the Sleep Disorder Forums. If you have questions which you think will help email sandman. No offensive language please.
How do the sleep forums work?
The forums are divided up into specific categories. Sleep Apnea, Insomnia, Narcolepsy, Restless Legs, Shift Work, Infant and Children sleep problems, and one Forum for any of the other sleep disorders. You may view all postings. If you want to post a message you must register to receive a password. Registration button is located on the most recent Sleep Forums or on the Registration Homepage. Once registered, click on Post Message button, which will take you to a form to enter information for your new message.
To reply to a posting just click on subject title and you will view the message. While viewing a message you may post a follow up response. You have the option to preview your message, if you want to change something just click the back button. When you are ready to post scroll to the bottom of the page and press the post button. Your message will then be posted. You may have to refresh your screen to see it.
Do I have to include my email address?
Yes, you must use your email address to register and enter it when prompted to post. However, to protect your privacy it will not show up on the posting.
For your privacy you are not allowed to include your email address in a posting.
Why didn't my post show up?
Your post most likely did not show up because your browser did not reload the page. Click refresh on your browser and it should then appear. Depending on your browser settings, it may be necessary to close your browser and open it again to see new postings.
I receive the message that I can't post because I am in
an Archived forum?
Some sleep forums fill up fast. A limit of 1000 postings has been set to keep downloading the forum page at a minimum. Therefore, the sleep forums are archived for viewing purposes only.
To post a new message, go to the sleep forums home page and choose the sleep forum of your choice. Select the most recent forum (largest number) and follow directions to post a message or to view most recent postings.
