Virtually all drugs have some effect on sleep. Some more than others-- some effect certain kinds of sleep (eg. REM ). There are also differences between small infrequent doses vs chronic (daily) use of a "drug" or other substances we may not think of as a drug eg. caffeine or alcohol.
