You should try to get access to a book called The Encyclopedia of
Sleep and Dreaming. The editor is Mary Carskadon, Ph.D. The publisher is McMillan (I think). It is a beautiful book. You could browse through and pick anything that peaks your interest.
Good luck-- we need more young sleep and dreams researchers.
