apnea and sweat connection

Posted by John Reynolds on December 08, 1997 at 11:33:28:

Can anyone tell me if apnea and night sweats are connected. I have OSA and it seems like it is a constant battle between being too hot and freezing all night. If I leave the window open down to about freezing in the fall I can tolerate a heavy blanket but in the summer a sheet seems too much and too little at the same time. As strange as it seems I have had goosebumps on my legs from being too cold at the same time I felt like I was cooking. I get outdoors in the winter as often as possible and usually push the envelope as far as underdressing so I thought maybe my internal furnace is a bit overdeveloped.
