Yes I just started using a CPAP with nasal pillows about 2 weeks ago with pretty good results. It works really well as long as I can keep the headstraps adjusted right. My pressure is only 5 cm of H2O but still seems to require effort to exhale. So far I haven't had hot flashes at night. They never really turned into sweats it just felt like I was in a plastic bag and on the verge of sweating. As far as I'm concerned the CPAP machine is just a temporary solution until somnoplasty gets perfected and approved for OSA.
