Hi Keith,
If you AHI is 66, that means you are having an apnea or hypop. event every 50-60 seconds through the night. Ask your doctor about CPAP. I have seen patients in the sleep lab who have undergone serial UPPP (Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty) procedures
and continued to suffer obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and needed CPAP ultimately in spite of surgery.
CPAP is a simple and effective treatment for OSA and is covered by insurers.
Check out the self-test in this website
Individuals who suffer from OSA represent a large demographic group, and a majority of them can be significantly helped with CPAP.
Thanks for the opportunity to respond.
Brian
