Posted by Gene Miller on December 11, 1997 at 09:46:29:When considering whether to go CPAP or have the UPPP surgery, my Ear-Nose-Throat surgeon told me the success rate of UPPP in curing my apnea was 85%. Everything I have seen on the internet suggests that it is closer to 50% or less. How could a trained professional be so wrong?! (btw - I canceled the surgery!).
