Difficulties experienced with CPAP

My mother has recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea and seems to be experiencing great difficulties with her CPAP machine in that it is causing hayfever so bad that she sneezes day and night and has very sore watery eyes. It has got to the stage it is so bad I am afraid she will stop using the machine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
