Rick, thanks for the response. What got me thinking along those lines is the Lion posture in Yoga and how it is supposed to tone the muscles of the face. If that works then maybe there is an exercise to tone the muscles of the palate. I was also wondering if maybe that is why we yawn because if I take a yawn one step further by pushing my chin forward I can tighten my palate. That makes me wonder if apnea comes in middle age simply because we are losing muscle tone at that time. What do you think of these ideas? Any merit?
