If you live in a fairly large city there should be more than one sleep specialist so checking around is recommended. Also it might help for you to have your father take one of the Sleep Test on SleepNet's Sleep Links page. He should also visit some of the 5 owl sleep apnea sites to get a good idea what affect this is having on his heart and quality of life. Be persistent and get him into a sleep lab as soon as possible. Let me know if you need more information.
