Tremors on Going to Sleep

I go through periods when I experience tremors or shakes as I am drifting into sleep. It feels unpleasant: scarey, like I am about to have a seizure or disappear. Can you throw any light on this or what I can do about it?
Sometimes like tonight I would rather not go to sleep than experience this. Thanks.
