Brian,
Thank you for responding. I am getting quite desperate after 8 months of treatments that are not working. To answer your other questions: I am 5'8" tall and weigh 152 pounds. The doctors say I am not overweight and that any weight loss would not help the problem. The sleep center said that I snored heavily and that I definately had OSA. I asked about the Central sleep apnea and was told the results clearly showed no Central apneas. They said I do not desaturate very much and that was really not a problem. I am often sleepy in the daytime and I do have EXCELLENT sleep hygiene habits. I have been on bipap at very low levels and still no difference. My sleep apnea index is 54. What is nocturia? I have been waking often in the middle of the night for at least 11 years. As I mentioned before the sleep center has tried CPAP, BiPaP, Automated CPAP, dental device and medication. All pressure levels have been tried and I have used 8 different masks and/or nasal pillows. Any other suggestions you could give me would be much appreciated. Is it possible that I have something different than OSA even though the tests showed that I did?
