(CAPSO) Cautery Assisted Pallet Stiffening Operation

Say, I'm a candidate for a study at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital to evaluate CAPSO (Cautery Assisted Pallet Stiffening Operation). It migrated here from England, and according to my doctor has been approved in the USofA for snoring. This second study is to obtain approval for treatment of sleep apnea. It involves one procedure to scar the pallet and stiffen it. Anyone have any info on CAPSO?
