I had UPPP surgery on 31 Oct 97. My doctor told me that my cure would be 85%. I used a CPAP for about a year and wanted to get off of it. I also had high blood pressure before the use of the CPAP. My blood pressure stayed normal after the UPPP. The resaults may be inflated and I'm sure I still have moments of apnea but I'm better off than I was..
