Grinding the teeth at night is a sleep disorder called NOCTURNAL BRUXISM". I've read in sleep medicine text books that sleep bruxism occurs in two types, related to the sleep stage in which it occurs. The text said one type is treatable and the other usually is not. See a sleep specialist, or call a dental college and ask for specialists in bruxism.
