The usually quoted range of "normal" need for sleep for ages 21+ is 4-10 hours a day. Once established in the early twenties, this time does not change by more than an hour over the lifespan and even then, only when elderly. (unless something happens to disrupt the normal sleep processes in the body) Try the sleep questionaire at the top of the FORUM and take the results to your physician.
