I am a fifty-one year old male with diagnosed sleep apnea, I to have had the problem of inordinately falling asleep when the lights go out. This problem also affects me if I set at my desk and become ingrossed in my work. I believe that for some reason I become so relaxed that I forget to breath, when the oxygen level in my blood drops I then fall asleep. This is not an answer to Bubba's problem, but I would like to hear if others have this problem and any solutions that they may have found.
