Posted by Mchael on December 30, 1997 at 10:45:58:My fiancee complains about various noises I make during sleep.
The first noise is a "popping" noise made with my jaw/face completely relaxed.(I think it happens at the back of my throat) It occurs variously at night, generally when I am on my back during inhalation and exhalation. At 4a.m. (or therabouts) after a good 6 hours of sleep my breathing becomes VERY loud.
It is not snoring. It happens in any position. My sinuses are usually filled by this time. Blowing my nose helps on a rare occasion. The noisy breathing continues for the next 2 hours. My fiancee feels it is related to the amount of dairy in my diet. Past experiences without dairy products discounts this proposition.
Any other ideas?
