CPAP Equipment

Posted by Bob on January 05, 1998 at 05:56:09:

Have been using Puritan-Bennet CPAP device since 6/97 and doing well with it til I got the bill for the first 6 mos. Some subsequent checking around revealed that I can get equipment from others at as little as one-third the monthly charge. However, all the devices are from different manufacturers: Respironics, Divildis, Healthdyne, etc. My only experience is with the P-B product and am trying to find out how some of these compare to the P-B device on noise, quality, size, etc. Calls to my insurance company and doctor have been worthless (Shocker!). Any thoughts?
