Swallowing still hurts real bad but I'm trying my best to keep the stitches as moist as possible. I'll probably float out of here soon. I'm home alone, except for the dogs, so I'm not overly using my voice. I think the rest I'm giving my throat will be helpful in the recovery.

I'm not sure if any of this will be helpful to those of you considering the surgery, but I hope it gives a little more information so you may make an informed decision.
