This happens to me all the time. I also have very very vivid dreams that can start before I go to sleep or in the last part of sleep. The dreams are very realistic and often it takes a long time before I know if it was a dream or something that really happened. I am often haunted by the dreams for the entire day that follows. I have other symptoms as well. I am waiting for a sleep study.
