Initially I had the same problems. The bridge of my nose became sore because of how tightly I had to cinch down the mask to get a good seal. Two recommendations. First, the Sullivan bubble mask is very soft and does not need to be cinched down to get a good seal. Second, nasal pillows. I rejected them for the first year because they looked like they had to be uncomfortable. In fact, they are very comfortable, provide an excellent seal and I prefer them now to masks.
