Hi Kelly,

My experience has been that very few masks will seal without being snugged up pretty tight. I too have experienced facial soreness. My recommendation would be to try nasal pillows. Nothing touches your face but the pillows in your nostrils. They are surprisingly comfortable and practically leakproof when sized properly. Best of luck.
