Honey speaks tongues in his sleep!

Posted by Heather Ferson on January 21, 1998 at 06:26:57:

Help! I feel like I'm sleeping with a stranger half the time I'm in my own bed with my long-time boyfriend next to me. He will -- maybe once or twice a week -- talk in his sleep. When he speaks English, I think it's cute, poke him until he shuts up, and go back to sleep. Only lately, he's started speaking OTHER LANGUAGES! Although I can't understand them, they seem to be an oriental language -- Korean, Japanese -- and RUSSIAN! He has never been taught any language but English and French, yet he seems to be fluent in these sleep languages. He never remembers any dreams involving the languages, and finds it amusing. Funny for him, rather frightening for me. Anyone heard of this, dealt with this, etc.? Any help would be appreciated!

Heather
